I have this story that I never have forgotten. A conversation I saved in my mind, something that would make me think how I got in my place now.
At school wile waiting for our new teacher, I went out of our classroom to see the surrounding. Suddenly, I met a lady who wears the same dress as our other teachers wear. She was carrying a laptop with her and I as a nosey little child I started asking the lady questions. She was so nice to answer all my questions and told me stories about what she does. She asked me what I want to be when I grow up; I said I do not know but I answered her "I love computers very much". She smiled at me and said I can work as a programmer. As a child, I did not really bother what a programmer is instead I had to ask her what she does-- so there, I came to find out that she works in our school as a computer teacher and previously works for a web design company. Told me stories and I was so interested listening to her.
After the conversation, I started to think of what will I be when I grow up. A Computer Programmes perhaps! Or any job that would fit me where I can work related to browser and on-line gaming! I would work for the most famous web design company in the city. I will be popular for making successful projects and my parents will very proud of me.
Years passed and at the age of 21, I have reached what I wanted to be --- a programmer. As a programmer, I have done some projects for a web design company and I was promoted for that! The company whom I worked for, referred me to the well know web design company in the city, I got a better duties as a programmer and as the manager! Supervising my co-colleagues makes me feel confident and help others!
Yes! I never thought that childhood dreams do really come true as long as you will have it in your heart and mind and stick to what you have wanted to be. Truly it is when you love doing something, you would definitely love it more when in reality, you're living on it. It just takes determination, courage and hard work to have the beautiful things we have in mind.
