I knew a lot of guys that are web developers. A friend of mine is into it. He say it really takes time to build a web site and takes a lot of patience too. he told me that web developers has a certain attitude. He says that they are focused on what the are doing. It would sometime take them a day to complete a website. Amusing because they won't eat or sleep until they are finished with their projects.

When I started blogging, I finally understood what web developers are going through. I spend hours without eating just to make sure my site is working. I learned about server and how it works. My friend explained to me what server it is and how it is related to hosting and having my own domain.

How I started is not that simple. First I need to figure out how my home page will look. Then I started looking for domain.It was hard since I am not familiar on where to buy domains. There are so many registrar on the Internet and it is very confusing. I also heard a lot of negative experience when it comes to buying your own domain. They say that some registrar are not easy to deal with. Another friend of mine had an experience where in the registrar did not allowed her to renew her domain. It was very frustrating specially if the domain already made a mark on the Internet.

After I am done with domain, I moved to finding a reputable hosting company. This is very important because hosting companies are the one that holds the files on my site. That is how server works. It is like a stock room or storage room for your Internet files. Finding a reputable one is not that easy. Hosting companies have limited space due to limited servers. You need to know their limitations and their full potentials too. My web developer friend suggested I used the newest technology on hosting. He says that the most reliable hosting companies are the one with power serves and can store a lot of data.

I am not even half in web developing as my friend but after I am done tweaking my site, I now have high regards for web developers. Their work is not easy because of all the things they need to know before launching a new product. I better stick to blogging which I find easier.
